Bb-net media GmbH, Germany's largest IT processor from Schweinfurt, has been growing continuously for years. In order to do justice to this positive development, in addition to the construction of a new company headquarters in the Schweinfurt Main Valley, personnel changes were also necessary.
New additions to the production and logistics team leader
Edgar Merz and Marcel Zitzmann have been managing production and logistics with over 2018 employees since August 35. Edgar Merz is a trained master mechanical engineer. At MIWE, an industrial oven manufacturer, he was responsible for customer service and global spare parts logistics.
Marcel Zitzmann, a trained industrial specialist, was previously responsible as a supply chain expert for production and material planning at Coca-Cola.
Team leader for purchasing from own ranks
Niklas Maier has headed the purchasing team since January 2019. The industrial engineering graduate moved from Porsche Motorsport to Schweinfurt in 2017. At the end of 2018, he successfully completed a management training course to become a team leader in order to be optimally prepared for the tasks ahead. Since taking office, Niklas Maier's team has been expanded to four people. Another position is already being planned.
“The combination of experienced and young managers is the best way for us to combine different perspectives, knowledge and qualifications. Individual further training helps to keep the teams as effective as possible, ”says Managing Director Michael Bleicher.

The establishment of the second management level at the Schweinfurt refurbisher is bearing its first fruits, as the latest IT acquisition project shows. In a joint project involving purchasing, production and management, service products were designed that are tailored to the needs of customers and can be booked at a fixed price. The aim was to give interested parties an uncomplicated overview and to create an easily calculable model that meets the zeitgeist.
