Giving processed IT hardware a chance in the second life cycle - this is what our company stands for. What is everyday for us is not directly tangible for many. Our new company building, in which we have made all processes even more efficient and environmentally friendly than before, attracted a lot of attention and aroused the curiosity of many interested parties.
This is also the case with Holger Laschka, acting head of the communication department and press spokesman for the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group in the Bavarian state parliament. He visited us on Friday, July 12th, and received a detailed insight into our IT processing from bb-net managing director Michael Bleicher.
In addition to his interests in the field of energy and climate protection, which have always been central topics of his party Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen, Holger Laschka also connects his former independence in the IT industry with bb-net. In 2020, the politician, who grew up in Schweinfurt, is now applying for the office of Lord Mayor in his former hometown.
From a short company presentation to a short tour of our office space to a guided tour through our Technology Center, the heart of bb-net, the former print and television journalist received a detailed insight. Mr. Laschka was visibly impressed - both by our new company headquarters and by the processing processes.
In constructive discussions with the management, Laschka praised, among other things, the conscious decision to commit to the Schweinfurt location with the words: "Michael Bleicher is consistently thinking ahead with his already sustainable business concept and has also set up a resource-saving production process. That impressed me and I am very happy that one of the two big players in the field of Second Life IT remains loyal to the Schweinfurt location. "
We thank you for the visit as well as the interesting and exciting exchange and wish Holger Laschka as the Schweinfurt OB candidate of the Greens all the best for the 2020 local elections.
