Resource-saving behavior in everyday office life and the consideration of environmental aspects when purchasing office supplies are of great importance. With the “Office & Environment” competition, BAUM recognizes pioneers and thus draws attention to this important topic. Federal Environment Minister Svenja Schulze is the patron of the competition.

All incoming shipments were carefully checked and unnecessary advertising mails and magazines were switched to digital products. This resulted in a reduction to a fifth of the original quantity. Accordingly, harmful emissions for production, transport and disposal are also avoided here. Green electricity, LED lighting, charging stations, certified coffee or supplying employees with their own bottle and water dispenser system are now standard. Advertising materials are only produced on a small scale and are ecologically sensible. Printed advertising brochures are not used at all.
