The tecXL partner program launched by bb-net in 2014 now has over 500 partners. Participating e-tailers and stationary retailers receive support in order to promote the sale of refurbished notebooks, computers and TFTs from the tecXL brand. This includes, among other things, marketing material for the POS, digital content and interface access to item and inventory data of the refurbisher. As part of the revision, there will be three partner levels in the dealer program, bronze, silver and gold, to which the partners will be assigned depending on the annual turnover. Depending on the level, retailers receive a discount of up to 15% on tecXL products, which is automatically used for price information and in the bb-net online shop. Combined with dispatch processing on the day of the order, the processor promises even faster purchase processing and goods availability.
In addition to a minimum turnover limit of € 1.000 for participation and the various discount levels, no further distinction has been made between the various tecXL partners. "In order to establish it, it was important for us to generate a high level of benefit across all partner levels.", Explains Sales Manager Marco Kuhn, "After this phase of getting to know each other, the goal is now to design and improve the support of the partners according to their size and capacities." The entry threshold for participation in the partner program remains unchanged. The bronze status corresponds to the basic membership, which already allows every partner unrestricted access to the complete marketing material and the interfaces.
In parallel to the restructuring of the partner program, the end customer website was also opened www.tecXL.de completely revised and provided with current content. Regardless of their level, tecXL partners can still be listed in the interactive map for the dealer search, which can be used to determine the location of the closest stationary tecXL dealer.
