With the increasing establishment of professionally prepared notebooks, computers and TFT displays in the minds of retailers and consumers, the demand from refurbishers like bb-net media GmbH has been growing steadily for years. Founded in 1995 as a small garage company by managing director Michael Bleicher, today over 65 employees ensure that around 2.000 devices are overhauled and brought back onto the market every week. With the continuous growth of the company, the space requirements for in-house production, logistics and office workplaces also increased. In order to continue doing justice to the long-standing success, the construction of the company's own headquarters in Schweinfurt Main Valley began in spring 2018, not far from the previous company headquarters. As planned, the construction with major relocation measures was completed in the last weeks of November and work began on the new premises.
On a total area of 6.000 m², the new building will in future combine all company areas under one roof. In the front area, the two-story administration wing offers space for the management, all commercial departments and the new social rooms for our employees. The rear, spacious hall area, called the Technology Center, contains IT administration, customer service, goods receiving and issuing, production and the entire warehouse. In order to meet the requirements for data security and future security certifications, the headquarters has the most modern security systems according to the highest standards.
