Goals such as limiting the global temperature rise to well below 2 ° C and CO2 Compensating requires increased commitment from the entire global community. Increased commitment is therefore very much in demand when it comes to achieving environmental goals and the associated development goals.
We too would like to make an important contribution to this and support the Alliance for Development and Climate of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
The alliance relies on the potential of volunteering and the leverage effect of CO2-Compensation projects in developing and emerging countries.
And that is our promise:
- We share the goals of the alliance and are committed to achieving them. We promote participation in the alliance in our networks in order to increase the effectiveness of the alliance.
- We use high quality CO to a significant extent2-Compensation to promote development issues in line with the 2030 Agenda (development impacts) and international climate protection. The projects financed within this framework take place in developing and emerging countries and follow the quality standards that are set in the alliance for this purpose.
- In the future, as supporters, we strive for climate neutrality or even climate positivity and we are on the right path.
- We report on the projects funded, the development impacts achieved (Agenda 2030) and the CO2-Effect.
